A military truck, borrowed from the Cedar Bridge Military Academy at the request of local authorities, is driven by academy personnel and carries police and other officials as it makes its way through floodwaters to check for stranded residents in the Island neighborhood of Trenton, N.J., Thursday, June 29, 2006. Actor and comedian Gabriel Sunday goes the creatively vindicative route in dealing with the rejection of Hollywood.  Minorly NSFW, but dammit, it’s funny.

Shake the sleep out of your eyes!

Sometimes that cup o’ joe just doesn’t do the trick, so how about switching over to a

healthy alternative? To whit, a workout that a coma patient could probably do that’s given added zest with a little instruction in conversational English from some brightly attired Japanese enthusiasts.

Conversational, that is, if you’re talking to a cabbie right before you’re mugged on your way to a meeting before your big date with a cheapskate.

Kev Speck

Kev Speck
is a digital illustrator whose work I recognize from any number of Computer Arts Magazine covers.  Normally this style of work doesn’t appeal to me, but Speck’s use of color is what wins me over in the end.  Check it out.
