The Home Energy Saver is a free home energy auditing tool designed by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Berkeley Lab.
After you enter your zip code and fill out 19 energy questions about your home, the Home Energy Saver suggests what you can do to cut down on your energy costs. This tool isn’t the prettiest or most user-friendly, so if you know of something better, we’d love to hear about it. Attractiveness aside, it is a good place to go if you want to cut down on energy costs and be a bit friendlier to your environment.
