Astral Bondset GP Epoxy Putty 100g Two Stick is a two component, hand kneadable epoxy putty supplied as two separately wrapped sticks of resin and hardener. Knead equal parts to a uniform colour, press it into cracks, holes and leaks, and it starts to bond in 5 to 10 minutes; after 60 minutes it can be drilled, sawn, sanded, stained or painted.

How to Use

Clean the surface of dust, rust, oil and paint and roughen it with emery paper; grease can be removed with acetone. Cut or twist off equal amounts of both sticks and knead with your fingers to a uniform colour. Apply within 2 minutes, forcing the putty into the crack or hole, and smooth it with a wet tool or damp cloth before it hardens. After 60 minutes it can be machined or painted.

Applications

Sealing blow holes and cracks in castings, pumps and moulds, stopping leaks in tanks, vessels, pipelines, gear boxes and cooling towers, repairing wooden patterns, and insulating cable terminals and switch box entries.
