Brushbond is suitable for various applications including waterproofing basements, roofs, water tanks, and reservoirs. It effectively fills cracks, imperfections, and provides a uniform appearance to concrete surfaces.

The product exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel, and aluminum. This makes it highly versatile for different construction and repair projects.

Key advantages include its waterproof properties, resistance to carbon dioxide and chloride ion diffusion, minimal surface preparation requirements, and the ability to allow vapor transmission from the structure. It is also non-toxic and suitable for potable water applications.

For effective protection, Brushbond should be applied in two coats to achieve a minimum total dry film thickness of 2 mm. Areas subjected to light foot traffic should receive at least 2 mm thickness, with an additional coat recommended for moderate to heavy pedestrian conditions.

Brushbond should be stored in a shaded environment at temperatures between 35°C and 10°C. The shelf life is 12 months if unopened, and both components must be protected from moisture and freezing conditions.

It is essential to avoid applying Brushbond when air or substrate temperatures exceed 45°C or fall below 5°C. Additionally, care should be taken to prevent exposure to frost within 48 hours post-application and to avoid windy conditions that could affect adhesion.

The pot life of Brushbond is approximately 80 minutes at 25°C and reduces to about 50 minutes at 35°C. It is crucial to use the mixed material within this timeframe to ensure optimal performance.
