عبارة عن غشاء خاص مقوى بالقار مصمم لزيادة مقاومة جدران وأساسات المبنى للماء. وهو عبارة عن نظام مكون من طبقتين يتكون من غشاء البيتومين المعدل بالبوليمر الأسود، والمرتبط بفيلم بولي إيثيلين ملحوم حرارياً. هذا الغشاء متين للغاية ومقاوم للضغط الهيدروستاتيكي، لذلك لن يتغير حجمه أو شكله بسبب الرطوبة أو تقلبات درجات الحرارة.
