The synthetic Taklon fibres perform well with water- and oil-based paints commonly used in art papers: acrylics, gouache, and poster colours. They hold a sharp point and snap back well for repeatable, controlled strokes.

The Size 0 tip provides a very fine point that draws micro-details, tiny captions, and clean edges without splaying. This allows you to place precise strokes and create delicate outlines with confidence.

Taklon fibres are durable and resist wear, helping the brush hold its shape over repeated use. To maintain the point: rinse after painting, use mild soap if needed, gently reshape the tip while damp, and dry the brush flat or with the bristles pointing down to preserve the point.

Best suited for fine-line drawing, detailing on small surfaces, dotting, creating tiny captions, and outlining. It’s a great tool for illustrators, hobbyists, and students working on detailed elements in paintings or craft projects.

Rinse the brush under lukewarm water to remove paint, then gently blot with a soft towel. If needed, wash with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly, reshape the tip, and dry flat or with bristles downward to preserve the point between sessions.

Size 0 offers a finer point for micro-details and crisper lines, while Size 1 provides a slightly thicker stroke for bolder lines. Both hold their point well and are great for different levels of detail; size 1 is a good step up if you need a bit more coverage.

Size 2 yields a larger tip for more prominent lines and broader detailing. If you’re moving from micro-detail work to slightly broader strokes, Size 2 gives you more coverage while still maintaining control.

Round brushes are ideal for precise lines and fine details, while flat brushes are better for broad strokes and filling areas. If your work is detail-centric on small surfaces, the round Size 0 is the better choice; for wide washes or flat sweeps, a flat Size 6 would be more suitable.

The brush uses synthetic Taklon fibres intended for general art applications. While Taklon brushes are widely used for their safety and performance, they’re best treated as art tools and not as toys.
