Spreading speed is affected by the amount of applied film, the type of texture, the porosity of the surface, flaws, temperature, and painting waste, among other factors. At the thinnest dry film thickness, the maximum spread rate per coat is obtained, and vice versa.

Thinner: Jotun Thinner No. 2.
Dilution: Maximum 10 %.
Filler: Stucco - 2 Coats.
Topcoat: Bengalac Matt - 2 Coat(s).

CONDITIONS DURING APPLICATION:
The substrate's temperature must be at least 10 °C and at least 3 °C above the air's dew point, as measured close to the substrate. To guarantee adequate drying in small spaces, good airflow is typically needed. No more than 4% of the substrate's moisture should be present (by weight). Once the coating is entirely dried, it should not be subjected to mechanical stress, oil, or chemicals.

DRYING TIMES:
Drying times are typically influenced by factors like air flow, temperature, film thickness, and number of coats.
1. The advice given is to repaint using the same type of general paint.
2. If more than one coat is applied, the number, order, and total thickness of the prior applications applied will all affect drying timeframes.
3. Prior to applying the next layer, the surface needs to be dry and clear of any contaminants.

The following values are used to calculate drying time:
Relative Humidity (RH) 50 %
Substrate temperature: 10 °C 23 °C 40 °C.
Surface (touch) dry: 18 h 8 h 6 h.
Hard dry: 48 h 24 h 18 h.
Dry to over coat, minimum: 48 h 24 h 18 h.


GUIDELINES FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The substrate needs to be sturdy, spotless, dry, and devoid of debris, oil, grease, lacquer, etc. Form release agents and curing agents must be completely eliminated. Before application, a little sanding with the appropriate abrasive material is advised. Any resulting dust or loose debris must be taken out.
Recommended painting technique:
PVA Primer or Fenomastic Emulsion Primer: 1 Coat.
Other paint systems.
On wooden surfaces:
Bengalac Wood primer: 1 Coat
Stucco: 2 Coats
Bengalac Matt: 2 Coats
On steel surfaces:
Bengalac Red Oxide Primer: 1 Coat
Bengalac Matt: 2 Coats

STORAGE:
The product must be stored in compliance with national regulations. Keep the containers away from heat sources and ignition sources in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Containers must be kept shut. Use caution when handling.
