Legrand Mallia Senses 3 Gang 2 Way 16AX Switch, Dark Silver 281005DS

Three-Gang Independent Control

Three separate switch mechanisms allow independent control of three lighting circuits from one wall position. This consolidated arrangement reduces wall-plate clutter and is well suited to UAE homes, offices, lounges, kitchens, meeting rooms and other spaces with multiple lighting zones.

Two-Way Switching

Each circuit supports two-way switching, enabling the connected light to be operated from two different locations when paired with a compatible two-way switch and wired correctly. This configuration is practical for corridors, staircases, large rooms and areas with more than one entrance.

16AX Rated Switching Capacity

The 16AX rating is intended for switching lighting loads, including circuits that may produce higher inrush currents than basic resistive loads. Connected LED drivers, fluorescent control gear and other lighting equipment must remain within the switch manufacturer's electrical limits and the project's approved load calculations.

Mallia Senses Design

Part of the Legrand Mallia Senses range, the switch combines a refined appearance with a coordinated modular aesthetic. It can be specified alongside compatible accessories from the same collection to maintain a consistent finish across residential, hospitality and commercial interiors.

Dark Silver Finish

The Dark Silver surface complements stainless-steel appliances, brushed-metal fixtures, neutral wall finishes and contemporary interior schemes. Its understated metallic appearance makes it suitable for premium kitchens, offices, reception areas, living spaces and modern fit-out projects.

Rigid Mounting Support

The supporting structure is designed to help maintain mechanism and plate alignment after installation. Correct fixing to a compatible wall box provides a neat, stable result and helps reduce unwanted plate movement during frequent everyday operation.

Installer-Friendly Terminals

Clearly identified connection points support organised conductor termination and make the two-way circuit arrangement easier to inspect and maintain. Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician using the manufacturer's wiring diagram, suitable conductor sizes and correctly tightened terminals.

UAE Project Application

Suitable for indoor home and office lighting-control installations where the specified voltage, load, enclosure and environmental conditions are compatible. Selection and installation should follow applicable DEWA or relevant local authority requirements, the UAE electrical installation regulations and recognised standards such as BS 7671 and BS EN 60669-1 where required by the project specification.

Product Identification

Legrand model 281005DS identifies the Mallia Senses three-gang, two-way, 16AX switch in Dark Silver. Confirm compatibility with the selected mounting box, associated Mallia Senses components, circuit design and project-approved finish before procurement and installation.

Country of Origin

Manufactured in France, the switch is suitable for buyers seeking a recognised Legrand wiring accessory for professionally specified residential and commercial projects. Final acceptance should be based on the project's approved material submittal, certification requirements and local authority criteria.
