Mapegrout ME05 is a pre-blended powder that, when mixed with water, becomes a fluid micro-concrete with high flexural and compressive strength. It has low water permeability, high bond strength to concrete and reinforcing bars, and high abrasion resistance.

The recommended mixing ratio is 25 kg of Mapegrout ME05 with 3.1-3.3 litres of clean potable water. This equates to about 12.4-13.2 kg of water per 100 kg of product.

Mapegrout ME05 achieves high compressive strength over time. After 1 day, it reaches >25 MPa, after 7 days >45 MPa, and after 28 days >65 MPa.

Mapegrout ME05 should be poured or pumped continuously into the lowest part of the prepared formwork. The formwork should be grout-tight and pre-treated with a release agent. While vibration isn't necessary, using steel rods to tamp the mixed material is recommended to ensure all areas are filled.

The pot life of Mapegrout ME05 is approximately 1 hour at +23°C and 50% R.H. Proper curing is essential, and under extreme conditions, the addition of Mapecure SRA is recommended to slow down water evaporation and promote hydration.

The maximum recommended thickness per application is 220 mm. However, greater thicknesses may be achieved depending on the repair geometry, location, and reinforcement configuration.

Mapegrout ME05 should be stored in dry conditions in its original, unopened bags. Under these conditions, it has a shelf life of 12 months. High temperature or humidity may reduce the shelf life.
