Tornado is the color associated with the shade coded as 174. The 174 Alu variant is a Mapei Ultracolor Plus color designed for aluminium surface installations.

It is packaged as 4 packs of 5 kg each (4 x 5 kg), totaling 20 kg. This packaging makes measuring and dosing easier for mid-size tiling projects.

Add the powder to clean water and mix until you obtain a smooth, lump-free, creamy consistency. Avoid dry lumps and follow the bag’s specific instructions for the exact mix ratio.

Grout should be applied after the adhesive setting exceeds the tile manufacturer's guidance. Typically, allow the tile adhesive to cure as directed (often around 24 hours), then grout. After grouting, avoid heavy water exposure for at least 24–48 hours; refer to site-specific guidance for exact times.

Sealing is optional with Ultracolor Plus. The grout is formulated to be stain resistant, but in high-stain environments (like kitchens or showers), a compatible cement grout sealer can be used following Mapei recommendations.

Wear appropriate PPE such as gloves and eye protection. Work in a well-ventilated area, avoid inhaling dust, and wash exposed skin with water after handling. Keep out of reach of children and dispose of waste according to local regulations.
