The mixing ratio is 4:1 (Base: Hardener). After mixing thoroughly, allow it to mature for 15–20 minutes before use. The pot life at 30°C is approximately 6–8 hours.

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants like grease or dust. Concrete floors should cure for at least 28 days, and laitance must be removed using mechanical means like shot blasting.

The topcoat has excellent resistance to water, mild chemicals, abrasion, and impact. Additionally, it resists spills and splashes of solvents and other mild chemicals.

It is ideal for cementitious surfaces like concrete floors and can also serve as a finishing coat on steel surfaces. It is commonly used in light-duty industrial areas, workshops, and garages.

The product can be applied using a roller, brush, or spray. Thinning with National Epoxy Thinner (5–15% volume) is required depending on the application method.

The topcoat is touch dry within 3–6 hours, ready to recoat after a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 72 hours, and fully cured in 7 days.

The product has a volume solids content of 55 ± 2%, a specific gravity of 1.40 ± 0.05 when mixed, and a recommended dry film thickness of 70–100 microns per coat. The theoretical spreading rate is approximately 5.5–6 m²/L.

The National Guard Epoxy Flooring Topcoat is a two-pack chemical-resistant topcoat based on polyamide-cured epoxy resin, designed for concrete floors. It offers good adhesion, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.

It is Solvent-free, self-leveling epoxy with superior resistance to water, chemicals, and acids—ideal for diverse applications.

It is important to ensure adequate ventilation during application, as the product contains solvents that may release harmful fumes. Users should wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and masks, to ensure safety while handling the product.

While primarily designed for indoor use, it can be utilized in outdoor applications as long as it is protected from direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions. Proper surface preparation is crucial for outdoor applications.

The National Guard Epoxy Flooring Topcoat has a shelf life of 18 months when stored in original sealed containers at temperatures around 30°C. Proper storage conditions are essential to maintain its quality.

At 30°C, the touch dry time is approximately 3-6 hours, with a minimum recoat time of 10 hours and a maximum of 3 days. Full curing takes about 7 days under optimal conditions.

Application can be done using airless spray, air spray, or brush methods. The recommended mixing ratio is 4 parts base to 1 part hardener, and it is advised to thin the mixture with National Epoxy Thinner by 5-10% depending on the application method.
