National Synthetic Enamel Gloss II is recommended as a protective coating on interior and exterior surfaces like metal, wood, and other substrates. It is suitable for painting heavy equipment, vehicle repainting, superstructures, cranes, bridges, pipelines, and more in mild industrial environments.

National Synthetic Enamel Gloss II has a volume solids content of 50 ± 2%, a specific gravity of 1.10 ± 0.05 for white and pastel shades, and a theoretical spreading rate of 16.5 - 12.5 m²/L. The recommended dry film thickness is 30-40 microns per coat. The product has good flexibility and a flash point of 28°C.

National Synthetic Enamel Gloss II can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. Depending on the application method, the paint should be thinned by 5-10% with National GP Thinner. An atomizing pressure of 50 psi is required for conventional spray, while for airless spray, a pressure of 2000-2200 psi and a nozzle size of 0.018"-0.020" is recommended.

For metal surfaces, the recommended paint system is 1 coat of National Red Oxide Primer (40 microns DFT), 1 coat of National Synthetic Undercoat (40 microns DFT), followed by 2 coats of National Synthetic Enamel Gloss II (40 microns DFT per coat). A suitable primer should be used before the topcoat application for non-ferrous metal surfaces.

National Synthetic Enamel Gloss II has a touch dry time of 2-3 hours, a dry-to-recoat time of 8-10 hours, and a hard dry time of 24 hours when applied at 30°C. Drying time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, air movement, film thickness, and number of coats.
