Terraco Maxi Roof Coating 20Kg is a water-based elastomeric coating designed to protect and seal roofs. It creates a durable waterproof barrier, resists cracking and peeling, reflects UV radiation to help keep roofs cooler, and can be used on both flat and sloped roofs. It’s suitable for both new and existing roofs and aims to extend roof life while improving thermal performance.

The coating is formulated for versatility and can be applied to various roof surfaces, including metal, asphalt, and other common roof substrates. It works well on both flat and sloped roofs when properly prepared.

Key attributes include: 20 kg bucket size, water-based elastomeric formula, UV resistance, weatherproofing against rain and harsh elements, self-sealing properties, and suitability for multiple roof types. The product is designed to be durable, crack- and peel-resistant, and easy to apply on both new and existing roofs.

Preparation: ensure the roof surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Application: use a brush, roller, or suitable spray method to apply, typically in even coats. For best results, apply two coats as recommended by Terraco guidelines, allowing appropriate drying time between coats. Clean tools with water after use.

Yes. Prepare the surface by cleaning and drying it thoroughly. Remove loose debris, oil, and contaminants to promote adhesion. Follow Terraco’s surface-prep guidelines for the specific roof substrate you’re coating.

Coverage depends on the roof surface porosity and the thickness of the coats. Typically, you’ll plan for one or more coats to achieve the desired waterproofing and finish. It’s best to test a small area first and follow the coating guidelines to determine the exact coverage for your roof.

Drying and curing times vary with temperature, humidity, and airflow. Plan for the surface to be dry to the touch before applying subsequent coats and allow sufficient time for full cure according to Terraco’s product guidelines. Avoid constrained conditions such as rain or extreme heat during application.

As a water-based coating, it is designed to be lower in certain solvents and produce fewer fumes than solvent-based products. Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label instructions, wear appropriate PPE (gloves, eye protection, etc.), and store/dispose according to local regulations.
