It is used for solid surfaces like precast concrete, aerated concrete, sand/cement, and fair-faced brickwork, applied in multiple coats for thickness.

The maximum application thickness is 10mm, with up to 5mm per layer.

It significantly reduces building weight; a 10mm application weighs about 18 kg/m², compared to 33 kg/m² for traditional plaster at 15mm, reducing weight by approximately 45%.

Ready for use but can be diluted with 2-3% water if needed. Spray onto the surface, level with a steel-edged spatula, apply a second coat if necessary, and finish with a topcoat.

For short pauses, immerse the spray gun in water and cover the remaining plaster with a thin layer of water. Remove excess water before resuming.

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use to prevent hardening.

Terraco Spray Plaster Basecoat is suitable for a wide range of substrates including precast concrete, aerated concrete, sand/cement, and fair-faced brickwork. This versatility makes it ideal for both residential and commercial applications.

The basecoat can be applied using a spray machine or by hand. For optimal results, surfaces should be clean and free of dust or debris. The product may be diluted with 2-3% water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.

The consumption rate for Terraco Spray Plaster Basecoat is approximately 1.75 kg per square meter per millimetre of thickness. A team of three can apply about 500 square meters daily using a spray application method.

Users should avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin. It is advisable to refer to the material safety data sheet for detailed safety instructions before application.

When modified with Sprayplaster CM for added hardness and water resistance, the plaster requires curing for up to 72 hours after application. This ensures optimal performance and durability of the surface.
