Asian Paints Berger SmartCare Bituprotek Emulsion, 15L, is a water-based bituminous emulsion designed for general-purpose waterproofing and damp-proofing applications in UAE construction. It can be used as a protective coating on concrete, masonry and metal surfaces in non-UV exposed or subsequently protected areas such as foundations, retaining walls, buried structures, plinths and underside of slabs. Once applied as per specification on clean, sound substrates, Bituprotek Emulsion dries to form a continuous, flexible black film that helps resist water ingress and provides a barrier against moisture. Being water-based, it is easier to apply and clean up compared with solvent-based bitumen products, and is more comfortable to use in partially enclosed spaces.
