Steps: cut the pipe to length, dry-fit to confirm fit, clean and deburr the pipe ends, apply PVC primer to the pipe ends and socket, apply solvent cement to the inside of the socket and the outside of the pipe end, insert fully and hold for 15–30 seconds until set, then allow the joint to cure before pressurizing.
