    ESAB Welding Electrode OK 48.00 is an arc welding electrode made of low hydrogen iron powder, cellulose, gas. It is conforms to SFA/AWS A5.1 E7018, EN ISO 2560-A E 42 4 B 42 and has a H4R H5 classification.

    It is designed for fast-deposition and low-hydrogen weldments. The low-hydrogen formulation helps resist cracking and porosity along with good mechanical properties and satisfactory toughness and vertical up capability.

    ESAB Welding Electrode OK 48.00 has high crack-resistance even at high temperature and a great re-start capability. It provides excellent impact properties even at -50ºC and offers excellent weldability to base material.

    ESAB Welding Electrode OK 48.00 has a smooth, arc transfer and is designed for single and multi-pass welding applications, providing a stable arc with minimal spatter. It has good slag detachability, restrike capability and excellent mechanical properties.
