Fosroc Proofex DPC

1.Fosroc proofex dpc 100mm is a special bitumen-reinforced membrane designed to increase the water-resistance of a building's walls and foundations. it is a 2-layer system comprising of a black polymer modified bitumen membrane, bonded with a thermally welded polyethylene film. this membrane is highly durable and resistant to hydrostatic pressure, so will not change size or shape due to moisture or temperature fluctuations. it is extremely effective at preventing ingress of water and the formation of water-related damage, in both new and existing builds. the membrane can be effectively applied to concrete, brick, blockwork and masonry surfaces, and will provide long-term water protection.

2.Fosroc proofex dpc 100mm is a self-adhesive membrane, which means it is quick and easy to install. the user needs to clean and dry the substrate before application, cut the membrane to size and then peel off the release paper. the membrane can then be applied to the substrate without the need for using an adhesive. it can be self-taped and sealed with fosroc ttr 20-1 auto tape, providing protection from air and moisture ingress. this helps to reduce the amount of labour required for installation.
