Henkel Polybit Ceresit CE47 Epoxy Joint Grout, 5Kg, Chemical-Resistant Waterproof Tile Grout - Beige

CE47 comes as two components: a powdery resin and a hardener. These must be mixed together to form a thick paste that can be applied between tiles to create a sealed joint.

CE47 is suitable for interior and exterior walls and floors and can be applied to substrates such as concrete, cement, brick, masonry and wood.

A 5 kg pack covers up to approximately 8 square meters, depending on tile size and joint width.

Mix the two components (powdery resin and hardener) in the specified ratio to form a thick, lump-free paste. Then apply the paste into the joints with a suitable grout float.

Using a grout float, press the epoxy paste into the joints. Remove excess material onto the tile surface, then clean the tiles with a damp sponge or cloth to achieve a smooth finish.

CE47 provides a waterproof seal and is designed to be resistant to water, mold and bacteria, making it suitable for damp areas and high-traffic spaces.

Work in a well-ventilated area, wear appropriate PPE such as gloves and eye protection, avoid skin contact with the resin and hardener, and follow standard epoxy-handling safety practices.

Epoxy grout like CE47 is generally easy to clean with mild cleaners and water. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface, and promptly wipe up any spills to maintain color and performance.

Epoxy grout such as CE47 typically offers superior stain resistance, water resistance and mold/bacteria resistance compared with cementitious grout. It’s a good choice for wet areas or high-traffic surfaces, while cementitious grout can be easier to work with and may be more forgiving for beginners.

Store CE47 in a cool, dry place in its original, sealed packaging. Keep it away from moisture and extreme temperatures to maintain the integrity of both components until use.
