KDK Window Mount Exhaust Fan 6" Electric Auto Shutter 135 CFM 14W White 15WHCT

The KDK 15WHCT is a 6 inch window mount ventilating fan from the Electric Shutter Series. The shutter opens electrically when the fan starts and closes when it stops, and the hood and bent end shutter design keep out rain and back draught. It moves 230 m3/h (135 CFM) at 230V 50Hz with 14W consumption, and its mounting bracket fixes directly onto single or double glazing from 3 mm to 25 mm thick without a gasket or silicone.

• Electrically operated shutter opens when the fan starts and closes when it stops, with no pull cord

• Hood structure and bent end shutter design keep out rain water and block back flow of outside wind

• High static pressure blade resists wind and rain ingress during operation

• Mounting bracket fixes the fan on glass from 3 mm up to 25 mm thick, including double glazing

• Attached packing seals against the glass, so no gasket or silicone is needed

• Condenser motor with thermal cut-off and lubricated sintered bush for long life

• Front louver for a neat, square finish on the room side

How to Use

Cut a round opening of the stated installation space in the glass or wall. Fix the fan on the glass plate with the mounting bracket and screws from the front; the orifice does not need to be removed and no gasket or silicone seal is required. Connect to a 220 to 240V 50Hz supply through a switch installed by a qualified electrician. The shutter opens automatically when switched on and closes when switched off. Isolate the power before cleaning the louver and blade.

Applications

Bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and offices where the fan is mounted in window glass or an external wall exposed to wind and rain, including double glazed windows in villas, apartments, hotels and commercial buildings.
