Mapei Planiprep 4 LVT is a highly versatile levelling compound suitable for use prior to the installation of Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT). This product is designed to quickly level off minor floor imperfections to produce a uniform surface prior to laying the LVT flooring. Planiprep 4 is grey in colour and can be applied between 2 – 20mm thickness with excellent working characteristics.
Planiprep 4 can be used over concrete, screeds, heated screeds, ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, existing flooring and most flooring substrates. As well as being incredibly easy to use, Planiprep 4 also has very fast drying times allowing for faster develop times and of course time savings.
This product does not require mixing with water, further increasing the speed of installation and reducing wastage and mess. Mapei also guarantees that there will be no crumbling of the product when it’s being laid and that it will undergo almost no shrinkage during the drying process.
For improved adhesion of the product, Mapei recommend using their Planitack LVT self - adhesive primer prior to laying the Planiprep.
