Mapei Plastimul DPM

1. Mapei Plastimul DPM is a moisture-activated polyurethane damp-proof membrane that prevents dampness from entering a building. It is suitable as protection of deep walls, such as those found in foundations and basements. This type of damp-proof membrane is extremely beneficial for preventing rising damp.

2. It is highly water-resistant, making it able to withstand large amounts of constant water exposure. The membrane is also breathable, allowing moisture built up in walls, floors and other areas with high humidity to be dispersed out of the environment.

3. The product is easy to apply as it is supplied in pre-prepared sheets which are self-adhesive, so no additional adhesive is needed. It is also very low odour, so can be applied even in enclosed areas with minimal disruption to the environment.

4. Mapei Plastimul DPM is suitable for use in wet locations such as bathrooms and can be used on all types of substrates including concrete, plaster and brick. It also offers excellent adhesion, and in some cases, no additional mechanical fixing is necessary.
