1) Insert a compatible 12V M12 battery (not included). 2) Attach a 3/8" drive socket or extension to the ratchet. 3) Depress the variable speed trigger to start; adjust the speed to control torque. 4) Use the extended reach to access the fastener in tight spots; the LED helps illumination. 5) Release the trigger to stop, and remove the socket when finished.

As a bare tool, it includes the Milwaukee M12FIR38LR-0 tool itself with no battery or charger included. You’ll need to supply an M12 battery and charger separately.

This tool uses Milwaukee’s M12 12V battery system. Using a higher-capacity M12 battery (larger Ah rating) can extend runtime, while ensuring you’re using authentic M12 packs for best performance and safety.

Wear eye protection and gloves when working in tight spaces. Keep hands away from the rotating socket, avoid using the tool as a hammer, and disconnect the battery before changing sockets or performing maintenance. Use the LED light to improve visibility in dark areas and maintain a clear workspace.
