Bare tool means the package includes the tool only, without a battery or charger. You will use it with your existing Milwaukee M12 red lithium battery and charger compatible with the M12 platform.

Wear eye protection and gloves, secure the workpiece, use the correct 1/4" hex bits, avoid pinching or stalling, keep hair and clothing away from rotating parts, and follow tool and battery safety guidelines. Do not use damaged bits or batteries, and keep the chuck clean and free of debris.

Use standard 1/4" hex shank bits designed for impact drivers. Milwaukee magnetic bit holders and belt hooks can help with storage. Make sure to use compatible M12 batteries and chargers for optimal performance.
