Features & Benefits

Weatherm PPR Pipe is made from the highest quality polypropylene random copolymers which provides long-term strength and better acceptance of cold and hot water. It also has a wide temperature range up to 95°C and is able to withstand the highest system pressure rating of PN 16.

This pipe is perfect for hot and cold water pipes, as well as purging systems and has been designed for long service life. It meets all the requirements for the Din Standard 8077/8078 and has high levels of soundness and durability over its lifetime.

Weatherm PPR Pipe is resistant to chemical agents, which means it won’t corrode or decay as easily as other pipes. Its smooth walls mean it can provide better flow performance which can help to reduce energy and improve water pressure.

This pipe is designed to be easy to install with less chances of leaking with specially designed connectors helping to form a stronger joint. Weetherm PPR Pipe also has a low thermal transfer coefficient and prevents heat and sound losses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Weatherm PPR Pipe PN16 is a polypropylene random copolymer pipe designed for pressurized hot and cold water systems. It is suitable for potable water distribution, purging lines, and other domestic or commercial piping applications, offering long service life.

You can explore alternative Weatherm PPR pipes on Fepy by checking product pages such as Weatherm PPR Pipe PN16 25mm (https://fepy.com/product/weatherm-ppr-pipe-pn16-25mm) and Weatherm PPR Pipe PN16 32mm (https://fepy.com/product/weatherm-ppr-pipe-pn16-32mm), or PN20 variants like Weatherm PPR Pipe PN20 25mm (https://fepy.com/product/weatherm-ppr-pipe-pn20-25mm). Compare diameter, pressure rating, and compatibility with fittings to choose the best option for your project.

Compared to PN16 variants in the same family, you may choose different diameters (e.g., 25mm, 32mm) to suit your flow requirements. For higher pressure needs, PN20 variants are available as alternative options that you can find on Fepy’s product listings.

Select the pipe diameter based on desired flow rate and system pressure, and choose lengths that minimize joints and ensure proper support. Refer to your system design and local codes to determine the appropriate size for your application.

Yes, it is designed for potable water applications and shows resistance to common chemicals encountered in plumbing, contributing to long-term durability when installed with approved fittings.

Ideal for hot and cold water distribution, domestic plumbing, and purging or circulation lines in both residential and commercial installations.

Use compatible PPR fittings designed for Weatherm PPR Pipe. The system is designed for strong joints with specially designed connectors and is typically joined by heat-fusion (fusion welding) or approved mechanical connections following the manufacturer's guidelines.

Its smooth inner walls reduce turbulent flow and friction, improving flow performance and potentially lowering energy use and pressure losses over the system’s life.

Weatherm PPR Pipe PN16 meets the DIN standards 8077 and 8078, ensuring quality, compatibility with fittings, and reliable performance in plumbing systems.

The pipe is made from polypropylene random copolymers and supports temperatures up to about 95°C. It resists corrosion and chemical attack, has smooth inner walls for better flow, and contributes to energy-efficient water transport.

PN16 indicates a maximum working pressure rating of 16 bar at typical operating temperatures, making it suitable for most residential and light commercial water supply installations.
