Where to buy plaster mesh and GI mesh in the UAE?

You can buy plaster mesh online at FEPY, a building materials store that is part of Al Zaabi Group. FEPY stocks galvanised iron (GI) plaster mesh in 20 cm, 25 cm and 30 cm widths, in rolls of 25 m, 30 m, 35 m and 50 m, including Metex heavy-duty GI plaster mesh. For crack control on larger surfaces, there is also fibre mesh: 1 m wide white fibre mesh and blue fibre mesh in 4", 6" and 8" widths.

The same page lists GI block mesh for blockwork, A142 BRC mesh for concrete, and orange safety mesh for site fencing. Plaster mesh is fixed over joints between blockwork and concrete before plastering, and it helps reduce cracks in the finished plaster. Each product page shows the current price, size and stock. Order online for same-day or next-day delivery on in-stock items across the UAE, with free delivery on orders above AED 200*.

What is the difference between fibreglass and galvanised (GI) plaster mesh?
GI plaster mesh is made of galvanised iron. It is stiff and strong and is mainly used to bridge joints between blockwork and concrete in cement plaster. Fibreglass mesh is lightweight, flexible and does not rust. It is often used in wider widths to reduce surface cracking in plaster and render. Follow your project specification when choosing between them.
